the build.
Our commercial project in Greenville, and the one that shows the range. The main hall is built around an exposed dark timber truss structure running the length of a vaulted ceiling, with tiered iron-and-glass chandeliers hung down the spine and a full bar at the far end. It seats a crowd and it had to be engineered to.
The rest is detail work: a stacked-stone fireplace with a heavy stained mantel, a lounge with a grand piano under a crystal chandelier and olive trees run up into the trusses, and a covered patio outside with string lighting and planted beds. Beyond it a pond takes the whole building as a reflection at sunset — worth the walk out.
